L&P Marketing in Houston hired me to work on a logo and a few other pieces for their meeting and management firm client, Coterie Spark. They wanted to have a modern corporate feel so we opted to keep the color palette monochromatic and the logo slightly abstract. The logo itself was inspired by the classic lightbulb "idea" metaphor but instead of using the classic lightbulb shape I focused on the lightbulb filament to keep the mark modern. Visit Coterie Spark online here.

Bell Heights is a residential community in Houston, TX. that is a conversion of the historic Southwestern Bell Telephone Museum. L&P Marketing hired me to work with them to establish the look of the Bell Heights brand. The building itself has an art deco appeal but the interior of the units range from traditional to modern decor so the brand felt like it should have some subtle art deco elements without being too overwhelming. I created the bell pattern to give a nod to the history of the building but kept the layout pretty modern with the large images.
Modern American is a political and entertainment blog. I worked directly with the owner to create their logo and a few promotional materials. I played with the "A" and "M" letterforms to form an eagle and kept the logo in black or white to keep the mark modern.
